Does anyone run a 295/65 on a basically stock 200? I know it would require spacers and I’m willing to use them. I know the only tire for the stock 18” wheel is the Goodyear.

I am contemplating this size because I was originally thinking 275/70, but to me they look to skinny. Then I was thinking 285/65, they don’t look tall enough (at least in pics). Then I was thinking 285/70, but to me they look like they leave no room if you needed it off road. I am going to be putting on the E & E 13mm coil spacer. And yes I know suspension height doesn’t affect tire size fitting but I’m more so speaking on the aesthetics.

So, if anyone is running a 295/65 on a stock or lifted maybe 1-2” on stock wheels, please let me see. Or if you advise against it for some reason please let me know

I don't recall ever seeing that size, but 285/65/18 is no problem and you're talking .5" more diameter and .4" more width.

Might try looking for 33x11.50R18 instead of 295/65R18. Essentially the same size, but floatation sizing probably has more availability.

33s are a pretty tame fit as long as you are willing to move some plastic around. Not sure which vehicle you are running (LX vs LC), but you may need a wheel spacer to run a 33. I'd go with 1" if you can.

An LC, and yes I figured I would have to do spacers but I’m okay with that. But good point, I’ll look into that!

Nothing to be gained by 33x11.50R18 really. For example on the Nitto Recon Grappler the 33x11.50 R18 is .1" shorter and .1" narrower than the 285/65R18.

The original ask was about 295/65R18 rather than 285/65R18. I mean, i agree, he probably won't notice a difference. But if he wanted just that slight extra width (which he did specifically mention), then a 11.5" tire will be wider and more readily available than the 295/65R18. Either way, he's probably splitting hairs....but that's always a key ingredient to analysis paralysis.

edit:
Although, also point taken, or should be noticed by @ChattTNUJ200 that in the Nitto line, the 11.5" tire is narrower than the 285 width tire, even though, mathematically that doesn't jive.

295/65R18 is a great size. Pair that with 1" wheel spacers for stock wheels will give you the best fitment with an effective offset of +34mm. You want enough offset to clear suspension bits, but not so much that it creates fitment issues itself with tire swing and other suspension geometry compromises.

There are LCs on the boards that have larger and wider fitment including 305/65R18 (33.2" x 12") and 295/70R18s (34.3" x 11.6"), so your proposed 295/65R18 (33.1" x 11.6") should work just fine with some minor plastics massaging.

295/65R18 also has the benefit of much more reasonable inflation pressure for load rating. That along with a more curved sidewall profile on stock wheels should result in a more comfortable and compliant ride.

While having more contact patch for stronger braking, cornering, and handling performance.

Have I mentioned this is a GREAT size?

Great size except only the Goodyear Duratrac is available in this size. Personally a great size in a below average tire isn't a compromise worth making. I did run the Goodyear Duratracs before and they wore poorly, were loud, and didn't really perform that great in any conditions.
