Steering Wheel Replacement

I want to replace the stock wheel on a 65 FJ40 with a smaller Grant steering wheel. The problem is they don't list an adaptor for anything older then a 73. Does anyone know if the 73 is the same as the 65? Otherwise Grant needs the OD, ID and spline count on the column to match with other adaptors, does anyone have that info?

This is easer Grant part # 3163 SOR part # 300-21a The 73 is not the same it has a different spline count.
