Steel Toe Boots!! Whatcha Got?

Timberland Pro Ti here. They have been one of the most comfortable boots I've ever worn and light weight too.

custom made from a local boot maker/cobbler, with a safety toe. doesn't get as cold as a steel toe.

Currently wearing boots from the Hytest Footrest line. Best boots I've used so far. I stand on concrete in a machine shop for 8-10 hours a day. The shoes gotta be comfortable! I paid right around $150 for the pair.

i spend too much time on my knees(don't bother. 1. it's to easy 2. you won't be the first). as a pipe welder i'm always on my knees. i would be wearing out the tips of my boots in less than a year, since i quite getting steel toes i get almost 2 years per pair.

Wolverine (Caterpillar), Red Wing, and a couple other off-brands. They all seem to last about the same, and feel the same, no matter if it is 3 hours on your feet or 16.....

You buy small boots.
I don't have small feet but anyway. I actually have four flavors of steel toes, Redwing, Wolverine, the Timberlands and I can't recall the other. The Timberlands have been the best for comfort and climbing on/around aircraft. They have a non-marking sole, kinda important so you don't leave black marks on a guys $10+ million airplane. You guys that work in other shops prolly don't need to worry about that.

It's not the most manly boot, but I use the Georgia Giant Steel Toe Romeo around the house. I can slip them on and off (with no hands) as I'm running between the garage and the house.

Hate the things have heard way to many horror stories of what can happen with the crush factor when they incounter something they cannot withstand. I like my piggies right where they are.

Vasque boots are the shiz. My present pair is 10 years old and still as comfortable as can be. Cost about $360 back in the day but they take a serious beating and really hold up. Just 02
