Starts Runs good for a minute and dies

I have a fj60 and I got is started and it runs and idles fine for almost exactly 1 minute then it is like the key was turned off. No sputter or anything it just shuts off.

Then you have to wait a couple minutes and then you can start it again.

Then the same thing, it will run fine for the same amount of time and just die.

ANY IDEAS?

Fuel filter? When it dies, can you see fuel in the sight glass on the carb?

New fuel filter. Yes there is fuel. I had it running fine and then for some reason this thing started happening.

Will it restart immediately after stalling? No? Good, that makes diagnosis easy.

First, look at the sight glass on carb. No fuel visible? Check fuel delivery problem (bad pump, plugged filter, plugged tank...)

If fuel is present, try cranking engine & check for spark.

yep spark is good. I have to let it sit about 30 seconds and then it fire right up. runs about a minute and dies.

could an ignition coil get hot and stop throwing a spark?

The electronic ignition is pretty reliable. Prolly a fuel feed problem.

To be sure, check for a spark when it dies.
And check for fuel level on the sight glass.
