I need a little help, can anyone tell me where on the manifold the hose marked yellow goes? I’m probably looking right it …
It’s an 85 FJ60. The hose diagrams are rather vague about where this hose goes.
Thanks!

It would help to have more information.
What year/model vehicle?
your question is vague, is the hose disconnected? Do you just not feel like tracing it to see where it is connected?
What is the general issue?

Yes, it’s disconnected on the other end, I know there’s a fitting someplace for it but I can’t find it.

This valve where my hand is, is holding the hose from the bottom of the valve. What I need to know is, where on the manifold or carb does the end in my hand go? I can’t seem to find a port or nipple for it. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Someone on this site will know exactly what this is. I do not know but mine goes nowhere and is sitting on the top of my steering box. I'm thinking some kind of atmospheric pressure sense?

From the photo, it looks like you’ve marked the vac line coming off the bottom of the High Altitude Compensator (HAC). That line stays open to the atmosphere, so if it’s not connected to anything that’s good.

This thread has some useful HAC tech:

It's open to atmosphere. When you go above 4K ft elevation, the valve it's attached to opens and filtered air is bled into the top of the carburetor to lean out the mix that goes rich at high elevation.

The Valve is HAC.. high altitude compensation.

Thank you, and thanks for the how & why.
