Nice looking job on the cage.
I was wondering what kind of rear shackel mount that is in the rear wheel well photo.

Its a cantilever shackle from downey offroad. I will have to test it out and show pictures of it working one day. It is suppposed to let the axle droop out a bit farther so both wheels can stay on the ground. I might have to unhook the swaybar to get to its full potential.

Nice job on the cage....patience goes a long way....if ya don't mind me askin how much did you save fabbing it yourself?

I spent about $575 on metal and hardware. I did screw up and had some waste, but I able to salvage some of it. It was my first time doing this, what can i say. Maybe another $40 in blades, disks, and bits. I wanted to make it a little bit different then what is out in the market. It was a good experience being able to create something from nothing.

Dude awesome cage! Literally exactly how I was thinking about doing mine with seatbelt loop and hip guards.

Question:

What bender where you using?
Did you get all your angles with that Husky electronic level?
2" 1.20 wall DOM correct? and what were you using a wire feed 220 welder?

Sorry for all questions, bitchin work man. :smokin:
