So I got the rear part of the cage set up and welded in. That was a pain to get straight, but we got it were it needs to be. Checked clearances 3 times. I went with the shopping cart handle look in the back to be slightly different then other cages that I've seen.

I had to get rid of the driver's side underseat storage box to make my new seats fit lower.:meh: But I will probably make a bigger one under the passenger seat  because I'm not using the stock tank.

Tomorrow night the seat mounts will be fab'd up.:wrench:

The cage is looking real good. Can't wait to redo mine and get started on some tube fenders/rockers. ( the flop the other weekend did in my right fender and running board).
Love the colors of your rig, can't go wrong with the red and black.

Looking nice, I like the bends for dash clearance, I've seen alot of different ways to do it and think yours is very clean!

I just finished the cage with seats and it is looking real good. one day ill take it out to get powder coated.

I made my seat brackets out of 1 1/2" and 1" tube. Ground off the stock subaru seat brackets and welded some tabs on the seat tracks. This way i am still fully adjustable. Then drilled through the 1" tube for the 7/16 hardware. I then added seatbelt tabs and 2 small belt hoops behind the headrests.

As you can see she had a lot of holes to be filled. :censor: LOL The P.O. went holy on us in the rear wheel wells.

The cage build has come to an end

I decieded to share the end result of the cage and stop hoarding these pictures for myself. Been caught up with a little thing called life I guess. This is right before I put the top is all back on and covered it all up. The fingers were crossed and I gotta say it fits really nice. So enjoy the fresh powder coat.;p
