I’ve got the same color 2011 LX, but where I’ve scraped the paint off, the base material is black. Is your bumper cover repainted maybe?This bugs me. It just started happening over the last several months. The rest of the LX looks great, but the bumper cover always looks dirty because of the paint spots peeling.
I'm considering just buying a new cover and taking it to a local body shop to repaint. Then I wouldn't have to worry about broken clips.
Do I have any other options than a full repaint of the entire cover?

Yeah, I get that. If we’re in it for the long haul with this vehicle, I’m willing to repaint and then protect it.Vinyl/colored PPF wrap. But that’s just going to cover it up, not address it. Your bumper/front of the car is going to take it on the chin while driving unfortunately. I’ve got my third windshield to prove that.

What sort of nonsense am I in for if I'm looking to change a single TPMS sensor associated with my current wheels? I have a single OEM wheel with original Dunlop that I'm going to be changing to an HE wheel with larger tire so I don't have a single silver wheel on my rig 80% of the time during the 5 wheel rotation.
I've got new tires to be installed shortly and all the TPMS (oem expensive bits) to go with it. What I don't have is the experience to "swap" one sensor in the cpu such that I don't have the tpms light illuminated all the time. I've got a high end programmer and used to have a dedicated laptop with techstream that decided to stop working on me....with that said, any words of wisdom or existing thread links would be appreciated. TIA.
One new OEM (spendy) tpms sensor on my new wheel. The rest are originals. Were I a smart man, I would’ve told them to move the other sensor but I thought that may have lead to another set of issues. They supposedly did the inflate/deflate/inflate pressure cycling on the new unregistered sensor to get it to power on. As of today, none of the sensors are showing on my dash cluster and the tpms light is on. Looks like this is going to need to be addressed.So you have new TPMS sensors or no?
The simplest answer if not is move the sensor from your OEM wheel over to the BBS and won’t need to program anything. If you’re doing any new sensors that aren’t already programmed into the vehicle, that’s the step that is required. Just note the ID on each transmitter so they can be entered into the TPMS controller via techstream, Carista, or your scanner.
That's the problem when you use lose a sensor. Toyota decides you don't need to see any sensors. Did they reprogram your new sensor into the ECU? The air up/down thing just activates the sensor. Does anyone else's rear tailgate flex quite a bit when sitting on it? Mine flexes down several degrees and is not exactly confidence inspiring when sitting on it. I don't quite feel like I'm actually going to break it by sitting on it but it is not great. Is this something everyone is used to? The tailgate on my 80 series had very little to no flex when sitting on it. The black plastic that the tailgate wires mount to seems to flex down/in slightly.
I'm very surprised I wasn't able to find any mention of this when searching for it, this is on my new to me 2008 LC
Looking more closely it is definitely more than just the cables as was suggested (and has happened to others). The whole striker mount trim flexes out when sitting on it, both sides are the same:

I may need to try and pull off the striker and that black trim to see what's up. Anyone every take it off? I should probably make a thread too at this point

OK, answering my own stupid question...2014 LC200 2nd row seat recliner handle cover. Anyone know if this little whatchamathingy tab pops up or slides or ? Prefer not to destroy the part and the handle is flapping side to side so there must be a set screw under the cover somewhere... thx.

It’s the 3000 watt inverter plug. Silent option rarely installed.Anyone know what this is? On floor under carpet between 2nd and 3rd row. Looks like an 110v outlet and has a wire running to it.

I don’t know if Toyota is reusing a part, but the nema 5-15r looking holes don’t go to anything. There is a black sealed part clipped into the white piece from underneath. It’s about 3/4” square and about the entire length of the white piece. I didn’t see a part number on the white piece. On the black one, I wouldn’t say I looked super hard.Any part numbers on the other side?
