Very different. May have to do with mine not being a US spec LC though, rather than aftermarket components.
I would pull that rear screen down and disconnect the power to it and see if that helps.
I removed mine and put in a overheard light with on/off/door options

Am I the only one with lots of little dings on the front edge of the hood?
Nothing big but I have several quarter-inch dings where the paint has been knocked off.
I don’t remember having such on either of my previous two GX’s.

I’m wondering if it’s because I’m more adventurous now that I have an LC or if it’s aerodynamics. Or perhaps just bad luck.
Or maybe simply bad memory.

It’s costing me $700 to have repaired at a body shop.

I sure wish I liked the looks of those leather “bras” they put on Porsches.

I'm a rock and debris magnet so to me it's normal wear and tear at 100k miles.

Ugh, I don't feel like working on this today, but lately my parking brake has been sticking. It only does it in reverse. If I pull forward it disengages. It only started doing this recently.

The photo shows the gap under the adjusting nut when I release the parking brake. If I pull slightly forward it disengages and the gap closes and everything is good. The rear brakes were done about 30k miles ago, but nothing else has been done back there. I crawled under and cable housing looks ok. Any ideas other than tearing it apart?

ps. It's not that dirty. The photo adds ten pounds

Are your rear brake backing plates corroded?

Either way, you might try twisting that barrel nut one face counter clockwise so the notch in the bottom lines up with the bar that pulls on it. Not sure why it's twisted that way but it is supposed to sit flush.

Took the rotors off and nothing appeared out of the ordinary. This is a clean southwest truck so there is no corrosion and the backing plates were not bent. Per your suggestion I did realign the notch on the barrel nut. It was out of whack because I had been messing with it.

Not a single chip or ding on the leading edge of the hood:

I have had one of these on every one of my Land Cruisers except the FJ40 I had as a company car in Japan.

I understand a lot of folks don't like the look, and AFAIK they are discontinued from Toyota, but maybe you can find an aftermarket alternative.

Hello, does anyone know how much amps can the front cigarette lighter and passenger cigarette lighter provide, I have a 2016 LX.
The USB chargers are quite slow and am wanting to plug in a faster cigarette lighter USB charger, would appreciate if anyone can advise how much load they can safely take and any charger recommendations

I am running 2 of these with no issues in a 2009.

Sad how mechanics break things as they work. During my last oil change from having the dealer do during full warranty period vs doing it myself and switching to 5w30 (itself a success as engine is quieter and oil pressure is slightly up) I notice the dealer monkeys have damaged the drain plug and thread in the pan. Was able to install again and is sealing, bought a valvomax though and during next change will replace/thread it in place once and keep that in place. Still unbelievable we let these 20y old kids work on our vehicles and damage them.

So this shows me I will do most if not all future things on my 200 myself and will take time to do so.
Some of those "20-year-old kids" are maintaining the latest and most complicated military aircraft on earth...

If I remember correctly both front seat sockets are on the same 15A fuse. The one on the rear of the console is separate 15A fuse.

The cigarette lighter is not the limitation and is probably good something around 150W total.

What you're looking for is a USB adaptor that converts that cigarette 12V into a power or charging protocol that is compatible and will maximize your USB device. This is ever changing as cell phones and even laptops are ever more hungry and push the boundary of what's possible over USB. The newest standard is USB-PD 3.1 though few devices use it. The highest power adapters can even handle full size laptops. But caution as things can get hot.

You can lookup what protocol your device wants. Or look for the newest generation of adaptors (some need to be physically larger to house more capable voltage converters). Look for high wattage PD power capabilities over USB-C, or enough to saturate what your specific device wants.

This is likely going to be overkill but will max out charging for just about any device.

Although listed as compatible, can seem to get thease HP24 switchback led turn signal bulb fit my 09 lx570. The HP11 style bulb fits but not the HP24, any ideas ?
They should work. If it's a fitment thing, email DD. They're usually good about making things right, especially if it's on their end.

If it's a function thing, try rotating the bulb 180 degrees,.

My hood is terrible.... I'm planning on getting a piece of vinyl to cover the first 6" of my hood. Not sure what to do about the rust before adding vinyl

Any previous body work? Hard to believe factory paint would get that bad with normal use.
Yikes. Glad my LC hood came with the port installed PPF.

Good point and I'm thinking the same. I had a car back in college that had paint work on the hood. After almost a year, had similar chips. Brought it back to the body shop and they agreed re-paint with little resistance. I'm not a paint guy but they said something about the primer not adhering well.

Same for a used car I bought in the past, only no paint shop to hold accountable.

The PPF on my hood has failed and looks like crap with a bunch of little tears. I’m getting paint correction done and the PPF removed and new PPF installed. The guy at the shop has warned me that sometimes when the PPF has failed, removing it can damage the paint. We’ll see how it goes. I guess worst case is I will have to repaint my hood or maybe wrap it.
