Chocks.com. Model HRR

I’ve got a pair I tied some paracord to. They’re legit for keeping pretty much anything from rolling.

Ive been hoarding some foam for that gap for a hot minute.
Maybe just use an Exacto knife and trim the smaller part on the right so there's nothing to collect

Not a bad notion. I have to trim them for sliders anyway at some point, might as well fix their mistake while i’m at it.

New owner, lots of stupid questions to come...

First one:

What is the (2018MY) console USB port's max-supported memory size, limitation on number of files, nested directories etc? I've got 160GB of files that I would like to be able to access. I can find this info for previous makes/models but nothing for 2018 VDJ200.

I can read a 128GB exFAT card, as in It will play an MP3 file in the root, but nothing when organized in a directory hierarchy with ~80GB of files. I suspect I'm exceeding either the number of files or number of nested directories. I see the USB microSD card adapter blinking. Do I just need to wait a really long time for it to index? Other cars/decks I have just truncate at their recursion limit and don't give up. There's no progress bar or indicator that it's indexing.

256GB exFAT, no joy with even a root file.

I think I want to attach a small angle bracket (to mount a small antenna) to the OEM "roof rail track": the slot where the crossbars mount/slide...

A) what is that slot in the roof rail called, so I can search?

OR

B) anyone do this before and know what kinda hardware would work?

thanks!

3/8" carriage bolts work. You need a couple washers on the bracket side to space out from the 'square' part of the carriage bolt for thinner brackets so that the nut will not bottom on the threads.

There are no stupid questions. Only stupid answers.
Let me rethink that...

SQ

P metric tire vs an LT tire (both same size), the p metric will give a more comfy ride, correct?

Will mainly be highway/mall crawler no towing.

Highly depends, not always.

The best answer to this is “more likely than not”, so long as you’re comparing two constructions of the same tire/category. YMMV

SQ for today: Realistically I'm driving my cruiser like once a month. Is there anything I should be doing while it sits? It's in the driveway/street, with no trees or limbs over it. Throw the sunshade in the windshield, don't really think about it after that. TIA

Nothing really.

The lead acid battery may wear faster as they don't like to sit for long periods putting them at lower states of charge. If you feel so inclined to protect that, throw a trickle charger on it. If you don't have an outlet close, there's tons of these solar trickle chargers that can help.

Hi everyone, I just got my first LC and car. It's a 2015 v8 5.7 which has gone about 85,000 miles (though it looks like the odometer has been changed since the interior wear looks like it has gone 150k 😅).

But anyways I have a silly question, my steering wheel (not sure if it is OEM) does not have the "disp" button and is just a black plastic piece. The digital display on the information cluster only displays the average fuel consumption or some warnings like wash fluid low. And I can not figure out how to change it.

Unfortunately where I'm at the service is really bad, I took it to a Toyota dealership and they said they don't know, took it to a few shops as well and they said I'd need to change the whole steering wheel.

It's not really that important, but I wanted to know if there's any other way than having to change my who steering wheel which would cost around 1.5k$ here.

Thank you

Depending upon where you are in the world, you may have access to more basic models without all of the extra equipment. In the US, we only get one spec (VXR) and the options are very limited.

Thank you for your answer, and sorry I didn't mention which spec earlier. Mine is also the VXR GCC version imported from UAE by the previous owner.

But the thing is I haven't seen any version that doesn't have the "disp" button whilst also having the digital display information cluster. I'm very new to LC and apologize in advance.
If you don't mind could you please check the attached image to see if that's what all the VXR look like and that I don't have the option?

Much appreciated

I also didn't include any pictures sorry about that too. Fixing that mistake now 😅

I have a 2016 with a different steering wheel now, but can confirm that my former 2013 had more buttons than you do.

Sorry for the poor lighting, this is an old photo and the best I can find on my phone.

It is not unthinkable that you picked up a down-featured former 'humanitarian' edition of the 200, like those sold by Toyota Gibraltar Stockholdings. Similarly, and particularly if you suspect odometer meddling, you may have a Frankenstein vehicle, in which the original dash and steering wheel (and who knows what else) was replaced with bits from one of these down-featured cars. For example, a high-mileage consumer edition is retrofitted with parts from a totaled 'humanitarian' edition truck and then sold at a higher price. This is all pure speculation. Perhaps drop your VIN into the Toyota look-up site Vehicle Specification - https://www.toyota.com/owners/my-vehicle/vehicle-specification.html (you may have to enter some dummy info to register) With the resulting info, you ought to be able to do some further investigating.
