What year LX or LX? On my 13 LX the PS top bolt I could just access with a socket and extension. On the DS I had to take off two clips holding the plastic air deflector to get to it

its a 14 LC. I had to remove the clips/air deflector for the passenger side. Ended up just leaving the frame on the drivers side intact and dropping the radiator in to the old frame. Not sure if it was easier or not, but for the life of me I still cant get to the upper driver side radiator frame bolt...

I know you cannot just replace bulb, you have to replace the entire unit, so I put it off. The car also has the turn signal light on the side mirror so I would still use the turn signal. Then intermittently the blinker would start working again. Then it went several weeks without working at all. Well just last week the blinker started working again! Now it is out again. Any thoughts?

Debris or corrosion in a connector? Remove the unit and inspect the connection. If it is perfect like new then follow the wires as far as possible to see if anything could have interfered (cut punctured mashed) the wire from either original construction or aftermarket installations. Check fuse for seating etc. These are just general electrical issue troubleshooting steps and I am no expert. Are you in a salt state? Is the rig modified in any way or has it been in a wreck in the past? Unless rust is involved this should be a pretty easy issue to correct.

Well... on my 2013 Land Cruiser, which I thought had the same specs as the 2014 and 2015 Land Cruisers, does not have the turn signal light on the side mirrors. Further, the replacement rear turn signal bulb on my 2013 LC is a 921 bulb - certainly replaceable without replacing the whole assembly.

Is this an aftermarket modification on your LC?

The bulb can be replaced, it's the brake lights that are baked into the unit. I replaced all mine with LEDs, but then you also have to replace the flasher unit, get the Diode Dynamics unit, so nice.

That's what I had to do. Detailer lost them during prepurchase cleaning. Still don't understand why they would remove them.

Are you saying they come with purchase of the new panel? I think I’ll just make do with what I have. I recovered mine and broke one of the locks.

I think so, but I got mine from a take-off. Couldn't stomach the price of a new panel just for the latches.

Find someone that bought a Trail Tailor storage lid. They're probably going to throw the original enclosure and lid parts away. They stock pieces are useless once you cut the whole substructure out of the lower hatch. Maybe post a note on the recent thread where a couple of people have put in new orders to Jason?

While we're on the subject of tracking down parts... I'm having trouble tracking down the following parts to swap out me Heritage Edition rear quarter panel single cup holder plus cargo cover mounts with the third row seat version that has a pair of cup holders on each side. I had attempted to order them from TRD Parts and the order was canceled. According to Boch Toyota:

66992-60010-C0 shows as discontinue

If anyone knows of a source (new or used) that would have these, I would appreciate it. I really don't want to have to purchase the entire quarter panels as those are really expensive (plus shipping would be a lot higher) and these parts should be around $45 each. I need these so I can install the upgraded supports for my Kaon shelf without hacking up the Heritage Edition parts.
