I am considering rerouting a bit for 3A(like 15 miles off course) and going to Indian Lake. The reasons are because camping at 7000' ASL gets arctic, and the lake is much lower. Also there are facilities for you city folks. Camp 1A has an outhouse, camp 2A is a quite fancy FS campground. The downside is it really isn't that far from camp2A, the upside is I can divert a bit and show you guys some cool stuff along the way (Jumpoff Joe, Vinegar hill, Indian rock, Chinamans Gulch, etc) I would like to see if you guys would prefer boondocking with no facilities and no people other than us, or built up "pay" campgrounds. I assume with all the kids and whatnot you would prefer USFS campgrounds, but I could be wrong. What do you guys think?
