what is the easier way and what model can i use?
do i have to change the cable??

You will need to tell us what year truck you have, and even that may not narrow it down, as someone could have changed things over the years...


Do you have a push on connector at the speedometer head, or does it thread on?

O cool, there is a guy on ebay and there might be someone here that does a drop in aluminium face with pre drilled holes for popular guages.

If you sell yours I would like to buy it if available.

Look around and do your research on parts, there are alot of small business people out there/here on mud that are willing to take the time to help you out and get you what you need.

I had a stock cable modified to fit Autometer / standard US hardware. Look around there were a bunch of places near where I live that mess with cables.

x2. Most speedo shops are set up to mix and match cables and ends. They'll just cut the lower end off of your cable housing and inner cable to adapt onto a new cable that will match your new speedo.

It's been a little while since I had to get one of these done for a customer, but IIRC it ran ~60ish, just to give you an idea what they run. Might be good to check with a shop BEFORE you buy the speedo.
