Speedo & Odometer stopped working (5 Viewers)

Took my 72 FJ40 out with the wife for a nice drive to the farmer's market today. On the way back home, speedo and odometer just stopped working. Other gauges still working, so trying to see what could be the issue here. Start with the speedo cable? Appreciate any help on tracing this issue down.

Yep, speedocable and gear at the tcase. You can pull the inner cable from that end too. If at some point if you have to pull the cluster, be sure to disconnect the battery.

Thx, so guess I will order a new cable and a new gear now and start there.
