Lokka TOY-RO-446 $239 for an open rear, had to beat that price wise!

Good question, still haven't got the rear elocker to work consistently yet so my next step is to do the rear, tired of spending time on it and not going to drop $500+ on a new actuator!

My understanding was with a locked rear we couldn't go with the open dif model or am I missing something?

E locked

All "lunchbox" type "lockers" (lockriite, Aussie, spartan, lokka, detroit, etc) only fit the open carrier.

As I suspected then they won't work in any factory elocked diffs then correct?

So other than an axle swap/carrier swap/or arb air locker do I have any other options than buying a new actuator?

Can be done, but probably not practical to put ARB into a factory locked axle.

Why would you want to put an automatic locker in an e-locked axle? That's going backwards on the axle evolution chain.

Well it works when it "feels" like working, I've rebuilt the actuator twice now and each time it will lock fine on stands and then when I exercise it once a week it will lock the first couple of times and then it won't.

Iirc there are only about 5 splines in that locker so one tire has to rotate up to nearly a quarter turn to line them up for engagement. Are you really creating enough difference between wheels to lock?

Drove figure 8' s trying but will run them again tomorrow at the barn in some mud.

No luck but I think I've found a rear third with a good locker for $175, so going that route if the guy will answer my email!
