Amazon had it direct from Toyota. Was a 2 month wait. Then the day of they cancel the order and say sorry. Now I'm struggling to find one new. My options are to fix the crack in my existing one or bite the bullet and go to SOR.

Any other sources I am misssing?

I saw a new old stock one on ebay a few weeks back for big $$$. Looks like the hunt will continue. Maybe I'll make one from scratch out of stainless tubing.

is there an issue with using a good used pair?

If I was in a jam I would just delete the steel line and go straight hose

It’s weeping and manageable. Did an entire weekend in Death Valley without any issues. Was hoping for a long term fix of either a used one or fabbing one.

Bringing back an old thread but after replacing the hoses on the other end of this bypass pipe, I noticed they had rusted out and created small holes. What would happen if I just bypassed these lines ? Would it only be a problem if I brought the truck into colder weather ? Maybe I just don;t understand the function as well as I should.

Just run long rubber lines in place of the original steel ones. Zip tie them together and fix them to something and you should be fine until you find a permanent solution.

I've had rubber heater hose in place for about 10 years now. Seems permanent to me:)
