As most all know we have 2 members now that are Master Tread Trainer certified in the club.

I have a small time consuming request for all the other members of our club to do prior to your next wheeling event whether by yourself or with a group. And that is to take the awareness course online that i will put the link to down at the bottom. Most of the old BOD has already done it now and i would really like to see the rest of the active group do it. I think it can help you in 2 different ways. 1) it can refresh / teach you to begin with, 2) then you can share that knowledge out there on the trails with other folks that might not know right from wrong. If people do not know what they are doing is wrong then it only is better for us to teach them. And anyone out there can be a teacher, not just Tread Trainers.

This will take about 45 minutes of your time and at the end you print out your certificate. Or not print it out. Up to you. I really just would like to see / hear from the people that do take it in this thread please.

Thank you.

Yes i took it prior to going to the course.

Done.

I did it, fairly easy , when you have the correct mindset......sadly I could not manage to print mine (hardware interface issues)

Yes it is common sense for the most part, but there are a few things i learned that i did not know.

I know there is a club out there in NC that has all their members take this. I would like to be able to tell the USFS that we have most if not all of ours also this year.

Thanks again all.

I'll knock it out this week. Slammed with work and prepping for a trip Thursday.

Done.

Done this afternoon

Just got back from a business trip today. I will knock it out this week.

I'm not part of your club but happened upon this thread and watched the videos and finished the course. Not a lot of new or exciting information, but nice to be able to print the certificate and feel like I am a bit more well versed in TREAD LIGHTLY.

Might be worth posting this on the general forums so more folks see it.

Thanks!
