Will 16” 84-85 solid axle wheels work on my 88 4runner without issues?

I guess, except the factory solid axle wheels are 15". Backspacing is different. The solid axle wheels will stick out a bit on an IFS truck.

I would seek out IFS wheels if you don't want it to look goofy.
