Just putting my .02...
The SOA is probably the BEST mod that in had done.
The ride is markedly better and the additional flex make the off road performance gain worth the cog trade off.
You donhave to take it easier in the corners on the road, but... So what.

I will be by to pick them up tomorrow....LOL! Merry Christmas Dan. Good to meet you to0. Let me know when you need help wrenching. I would be happy to help out anytime!

Thx justncase! I will check them out. I am considering new ManAFre's rather than gambling on used.....kinda spendy though.

Thanks for the input Chicago......I can only hope that it turns out "half" as nice as your project!! You gave me a lot of great ideas!

Merry Christmas!

You don't want lift springs in an soa. Does maf make stock-height springs? You could get alcan to make a set of stockers for about $900.

Fast Eddy, Yes. MAF makes a stock spring now for the 40. Pbgbottle, that is my plan. After looking at MAF I would be in to their stock springs for $700. That is money that I can definately use for something else.... The list is loooong!

Thanks man!!
Glad I could help.
You won't be disappointed w/ a SOA conversion. It's just a FUGGIN awesome mod for wheeling and (IMO) aesthetics of these old rigs. They look SOOOOOO GOOOOOOD sprung over w/ big meats.

Merry Christmas to you as well.
