Heh heh, it looked like a nastier beast in the nighttime shots--now you can really tell how teensy weensy those wheels are!

Are those anti-inversion shackles stock length, or longer? Where'd you get them? SOR?

Oh, don't feel bad about breaking the U-bolts--you shouldn't reuse them anyway.
 
yeah they are both anit inversion the ones up front are two inches longer(RSK) and i got them from man-a-fre and the ones in the back are 1 1/2 longer and i got them from jto. i dont remember the ones from jto were called but the ones up front are made wayyyy better heavy duty...im loving the spring over more and more every min.. haha everyone at work wanted a ride :)

oh yeah its my pinion angle..how bad can you mess things up til my shims get here? ill just be drivin it around town for like a week til they get here.. will i hurt anything?

Nope, you'll just wear your u-joints, and various bearings faster. Depending on how much vibration I wouldn't drive on the freeway.
That said, I drove two 300 mile trips on a horribly failing rear u-joint. Not much fun. :doh:
When you get the angle under control, check for slop in the d-shafts.:D
 
I would definitley get the knuckles turned. That caster degree designed in in the front axle is pretty important. But hell if you don't mind then rock on. :D It seems to me the caster being incorrect would cause vibration? :-\
 
it only vibrates when its in gear or under gas so im almost positive its my pinion angle, plus just by looking at the back axle you can tell its rocked up a lil :( owell its the first time i didi this so i guess ya cant count on it being perfect but ill slap some shims on as soon as i can.....

yup thats correct ... you caster is close to zero now so the steering will "float" this will make it raod walkk more at highway speeds but you get used to it :cheers:... looks bad ass can't wait to do that to mine :-\
