pretty nice lift
as for the vibration check ujoints, slip-yoke. with the new drive line angle new stresses are put on those components. even a very slightly worn slip yoke canl cause a significant vibration. make sure your u joint are top quality. Did you have to lenghen your driveshafts?

it took me a month to do it, but then agian i dint have air tools or anyone elses help, because i moved to florida lil while a go and have yet to meet any cruiser heads. illl get on my more pics today. yeah those are stock springs and they are pretty flat. as for the drive shafts i dint have to lenghin them, the back one is prefectly fine but the front one works fine but id be a lil worried about it under full compression( because i can see about 1/8inch of teeth when its sitting flat. ehh im sure ill found out someway or another. anyway after longer shackles new spring perches and the spring packs on to the axle i got about 9inch lift :) ill post some pics with in the hour....

Dude, too bad you're not closer to Naples, I've got shop space, airtools, jacks, blah, blah, blah. I could hook ya up with some of my surf nazi buds and had a few 's while working on the truck. BTW, did you turn the knuckles, if not how's it steer?

oh yeah i dint turn the knuckles...and i was gonna post this later but i frogot to... it seems to be easier to steer? anyone know why? after i got it out of the garage and sround the block i was like wow its like i got super power steering or somthing(haha)well i dont get it.. if anyone knows clue me in...im gonna go get on those pics now...-al

With out the proper caster the truck is no longer keeping the wheels straight for you as you drive. Because of this you are no longer fighting the correct geometry of the steering system. The down side is that it is easier for the imperfetions in the road(such as ruts and such) to steer the wheels for you as well. If I am off base with this, let me know you guys.

Sweet work, Al. You gotta mean looking Cruiser now!

this is a shot from my helicopter ;)

haha oh man there tiny.. anyone want to trade a pair of 31s for a set of 36 or 37s? :D

not so clear shot of up the skirt

now the pretty much most of the work is done im super stoked that i did it..and i think its looks good minus the 31s..after i fix the vibration which hopefully a set of shims will take care of i will be over the top flipin happy...
it cost more than i thought it would just because bolts kept breaking and spring pins just because of mashing the sh*t out of them to get em out.. i broke 3 ubolts just by twisting the bolts off.. air tools would have been nice but the hi lift jack pipe worked well..then after findin a brokin spring pack more cha chin... so if any of you guys gonna go for a soa have some extra change for unseen brokin sh*t... but then agian hell ya only live once so get on it...............-al

nah its just the park job and the lean of the parking lot... i just measured her up a 30 inchs from the back part of the frame on both sides and 28 1/4 in the front.. i guess the add aleafs in the back add some lift...

Nope, you got it right. Same thing happened when I SUA lifted my 40.
Some 2 degree caster shims up front will fix that.

:DIsn't it nice to be driving above everyone else :D Welcome to the SOA club
