Just wondering what the height is to the bottom of the door on some SOA 40's. Trying to get an idea for when I actually get to working on my FJ. Other specs and pics would be helpfull/

mine is at 31 inches
granted my tires have 5 lbs in them now but you get the idea.

My step in height(bottom of door opening) is 33" with 35" tires
33'' w/ 35'' tires.

Looks like Ill have to build some fold out steps for it. Im going SOA with 35s on it but want to keep it relatively low, my parents are going to be using it as a summer cruiser as well but they dont like climbing into my Tacoma so I know they wont want the FJ too high.

Use stock length shackles and a the flattest springs you can find. It's still probably going to be too high. Hmmmm I got nothing except wait until they're done with it to go SOA.

Im currently rebuilding everything from the frame up, doing a shackle reversal and SOA with stock springs and putting the 35s off my tacoma on it. When its done Ill be worrying about if they are going to drive it or not. If they dont like it they wont drive it. They just wanted something fun to drive around in the summer with.
