So Cal to PISMO, SnT 07

Not to jump the gun, but I want to get an idea of when you guys are thinking of heading up and get the whole Convoy dis. started.

I was not planning on going this year, but it's looking more feasible as we get closer to Nov. and it's a short drive.

I'm thinking either the Saturday 6am "Brent" glory run (since he did that last year) gettin to pismo around 10am, or leaving here Friday sometime (schedule permitting).

Plus, this event always gets me excited and promotes last minute add ons and purchases for the truck and seeing Jim, my So Cal crew, Nor Cal Crew, and everyone else is something I truly enjoy. -Sam-

On the SnT convoy I can go Friday evening or the Sat Brent Glory Run barring last minute snafus.

Hey Kevin - love that logo. Do I need to buy something (online store) to get one or two BajaOverland decals! Better yet, trade a beer for one at Pismo.

Funny when I googled that name, I got beaverland etc as returns.

I'm out this year. Darn, that was painful to admit. I've been the last 4 years but this year there is a scheduling conflict with an Indian Guides camping trip....arrggghhh.

I'm gonna miss it. Whoever goes take lots of pictures and if anybody drives a an 80 series with a diesel conversion please tell me all about it.

I am out too and have never been. It would be cool to see a ton of cruisers but besides that it doesn't appeal to me much. Anyway I will be in Death Valley the weekend before and that will cancel out the beach for me.

Sam - Definetely Saturday am for me and at this point Stan. Usually plan on leaving soutn OC about 5 am. We'll pick up anybody we can for a convoy!

I'd have loved to go up Friday afternoon to watch the Sand Chef competition, but SnT is just one week too early this year. Not a chance in hell I can get out of the office Friday during month end close. Curse of being in Accounting - I never get the first week of a month off.

Seriously though, I plan on going Thursday or Friday midday. Girlfriend wants me to take her wine tasting in Paso Robles before the event, so I might have to go up Wednesday for that (she's good at spending my money)

Glad to see the So Cal 80's going to Pismo. So Cal Landcruisers will be there on Friday to set up camp. How about if you guys who come in on Sat camp with us. I'm bringing my 80, a couple of guys have 60's, abd some 40's. We will have the usual So CAL firering and a good time to be had by all. We will post signs abd our club banner. Hope to see you there!

friday night is where it's at....chef challenge, and night cruisin, then sleep in and do the line up and poker scramble after chef breakfast.

Traffic is fine after 7, put you on the sand by 10, just when things are getting warmed up!

All the camping is basically the same. Just real crowded. That's all. Previous years the SNT crowd just creates their own city basically. Otherwise the stupid quads run through your camp all night long. We will be coming up Saturday AM most likely... so we'll have to squeeze in somewhere i suppose.
