Awesome weekend, thx again Chad!

Last weekend was another local 4x4 club's poker run. I was able to take my 5 yr old son with me. This is the first time that he has ridden in Snuggs and he had a blast! Everything worked great and it was super challenging this year. Everything was slimy... I didn't get too many pics though, I was busy enjoying the moment.

I just can't leave well enough alone!

I picked up an L52 transmission and t-case off Facebook Marketplace.... The L52 is 4.75" shorter than my W56. A crawl box and adapter is 6.5" long. I can swap trans, use the stock t-case for a crawl box, and bolt my 4.7:1 case behind it. That would only lengthen my drivetrain by 1.75".

*sigh* My excuse is I needed a clutch... probably.

Glad to see you are still out wheeling Chad, though I see you have softened a little now driving a samurai and with J**ps. Old starbucks off 217 and Beaverton Hillsadale highway Chad wouldnt have approved. I still tell that story all the time when that friend of yours said my Jeep was nice and you turned and kicked him right in the... I will never forget that.

Hahaha! The good ol Starbucks days... I hope you are doing well!

Those were some good times!

Doing well. Live in Wisconsin now not nearly as good of off road stuff out here unless you are in to SxS stuff. Sure miss the trails at browns camp.

Not much has happened with the Sami... I ended up moving this spring, which took a lot of my free time. This summer was chock full of different trips and kid stuff. However, I did end up buying an '83 Toyota Pickup from a buddy. I have decided to swap some parts between it and Snuggs. Unfortunately, I can't keep both, so the Sami will be up for sale soon. If anyone is interested in the Pickup, here is a link to the build thread: Builds - 'Ol Red - 1983 Pickup RN38L - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/ol-red-1983-pickup-rn38l.1368049/

I friend of mine let me use his building to move some stuff around. A couple buddies and my daughter helped me swap out the 3rds, tires, and wheels. Now Snuggs is running 4.88 gears with a lunchbox locker in the front and a true spool (not welded) in the rear. She is also sporting 37x14.00x15 Iroks on DIY beadlocks. I gotta say, the pics don't do it justice... This thing looks so mean!

And it is really cool that my 16 yo daughter still wants to spin wrenches with her old man.

I just need to button up and clean it, then she will be up for sale.
