got it off eBay from a different vendor than the snorkel, sorry I can't recall exactly whoHi. Nice machine. Where did you get the pre-filter? Thanks, Mark
Believe it or not there are about 1.5 million. And to keep this tech... the chicks in Iowa have less plastic and age better due to lack of time spent in the sun.
He was talking about women.
Is it a sy-Kllone type? ThanksYou can buy a mushroom style topper off of ebay for $25. Make sure it is a 3.5" opening, which most are.
I love the OEM design. I had not seen the MUDforum until after I'd already put in a KnN filter, as I've had such good luck with them on my desert racing vehicles over the years. In fact I had a partial sponsorship with them, so I'm a little biased. Anyway, a clean cool intake makes for a longer live, happier motor, so in harsh conditions, I do not feel a little redundancy in this area is a waste of money. You realize the OEM air filter can is already a cyclone design? Run in the dust for a while and then check your tuna can. It will be loaded. Also the upgraded OEM filter is washable , so easy to get clean: like new.

Generally yes the oil in the K&N can foul up the MAF/VAF from what I read. Seems the only ones that defend the K&N are very careful with the amount of oil used on them. I wouldn't run the risk on a what a $15 part.I would need to search but I recall there being an issue with the K&N oil and the MAFs heated wire.

HAHAHAHA!!!!Just put my chinese snorkel in my 60 and well... The stencil was 4 inches out and l had to reform the pillar support for it to work. Would do it again...yup. Would I buy from the exact same vendor...nope. Would I buy a fender if I botched it...yup. Is this topic worth 8 pages of bickering... Nope. Did I add to the bickering...yup. Do I care...nope...
