Yeah, new tech asked if it was full time 4wd.

"Sure is. 😀 All Land Cruisers are"
...

I tried the E85 and I still didn’t pass

Mechanical or Tail-pipe reason?

How much E85 did you put in?

I did NOT use E-85 in my car. It is not legal in Kalifornia to run E-85 in a non-Flex vehicle. 'E-85' is the name of my Cruiser :cautious:

I love Gavin Newsom and I hope he becomes President. I hope he has more Children than Elon.

See your PM.

If you’re close on CO /HC, you can run some Heet in your tank to get over the hump. I have done 2 bottles in just under a half tank of gas. Cheap, and nothing illegal about it.
Thanks
Going to adjust my air fuel mixture a bit and use that.
Much appreciated

I'm jealous @Spike Strip, wish my 60 would even come close to that readings. I may need to pull the carb again and see what's going on.

@RodrigzCrzr I added a gallon of de-natured alcohol to my tank at roughly 1/4 tank, ran through the test, and then immediately went and filled up and went for a drive to dilute. Passed with flying colors. Can't remember who I stole that move off of on here but it worked for me. YMMV.

The denatured alcohol approach was a solid bet but it’s no longer available “over the counter.” I think the Heet is pretty similar chemically and it’s available all over the place. I have used the red bottle as opposed to the yellow.

Heet is a mix of methanol and ethanol (so it's not drinkable), and about $3 for 12 oz or about $30 gal. E85 is 85% ethanol and about $4.50 a gallon.

Just saying...

Pretty sure you can go get a can of it in the paint thinner aisle at Home Depot, no? I got mine at ACE. Maybe that's a Cali thing...
