Smooth Jesse!

Ty new AR? Nice!

Yep :grinpimp:

Just waiting on a few odds and ends to show up to complete. All the critical pieces are here :) I just tossed the upper on my lower BM for fun.

Speaking of, does anybody in the club have a AR wrench tool?

Hey guys, when is this year's McGrew Trail Ride?! I thought I'd ask so a few of us can request time off at work and begin to plan for it again... and I didn't want to start a new thread. :)

Are you thinking of having it on July 26-28, 2013?

YEp! THose be the dates set! Im working on getting online reg open soon.

Railroad facts.....

I thought I'd ask my older brother Mike, who is a Union Pacific freight conductor, if he could get me a couple pieces of mainline track to see if they could be fabbed into a front and rear bumper somehow. He said he could but each 6 foot piece would be almost 800 LBS !! Don't think that would be too good for my GVW linits do you!? :D

I couldn't afford the tires!! Tires and wheels must be 10 grand! I think a few turns on the Mcgrew might be tough- BUT, no springs would snap! :hillbilly::steer:

All you would have to buy is one tire, we'd haul it up for you and once we got to the top of the hill we could strap you in and give you a push.. You'd get where ever you went quick!

^^^^ OK, but I'd have to insist my seat be built into a large bearing so I could sit in the middle and enjoy the view on my way down- not the kind of ride you had in mind huh?? :p
