Turns out sometime Tuesday morning i came down with a rather severe case of Montezuma's revenge. I've spent the last two days either in bed or in the bathroom. Goodtimes! Diarrhea loses some of its amusement after the 5th or 6th time of the day. I finally got some meds to slow it down and we are headed home today.
I've seen a couple new crew cab hi-lux's with the weird curve at the bottom of the back door kinda like the ford explorer sport-trac. Also seen a bunch of baja'd out tacomas although the most popular one to do that treatment to is the ford ranger.
We rented a JK with 105k on it and it was the biggest POS. It was a 6 speed manual and the transmission was toast, the control arm bushings were gone, the brakes were messed up, and to top it off the check engine light, gas cap light and TPMS light were all blinking on the dash. Also leaked when it rained even though it was a hard top. We drove it to la paz and there was a downpour that filled all the arroyos and they washed across the highway. We along with everyone else had to traverse about 10" of rushing water which was funny to see tourists do in their small econobox rental cars.

Don't you remember that old saying.....

Don't drink the Water!! Including mixed drinks with ice or anything else with potential tap water in it. Make sure the steaks are well done. All that stuff at the salad bars(on ice) is no good- even if it is shrimp and lobster. Chorro es mui mal!
