Hey JimmieT. Are those Dekota Difinity MTs you're running on?

1979FJ40Lover.... you need bigger tires! :D

Yup, Pep Boy specials .... buy 3 get 1 free! 31x10.50x15's. One year .... when I get a little extra green, planning a lift with something larger. Gotta say, though, those Definitys (made by Cooper Tire I think) work great. I can air down to about 10lbs, and get through some tougher obstacles.:grinpimp:

My bigger problem with being so low is that I continually bend off my stock rear lights! But the brackets are thin, and bend right back into place!

Here is one I fabbed up a year or so ago...

Cirbo---now that's sooooooooo nice---good job

Here is the one that I whipped up. Not the best picture, sorry. Enough room for a 12,500 pound winch, a couple of pairs of lights, and it has two 2" recievers which hold my "D" rings. Not pretty but it is functional.

I tried to duplicate the line of the hood on the winch plate, and made up some bezels to copy the head lights.

I didn't care for the winch control box to stand up so high in to the grill, and headlights, so I moved it under the hood.

I had to move the winch up out from between the frame to accommodate the Saginaw box I just installed. Welded in a plate to fill the hole that was there for the fairlead, and added the shackles and mounts. I like the splash of color by painting them red.

Small update on mine, small driving lights installed, tube hoop added, and bracing for winch done. Just need to buy a winch now.
