So what exactly are you supposed to do in this situation? I was also on a really bad hill a few weeks ago and ended up sliding down it backward about 100ft barely missing a s***load of trees.

Not much you can do. I let off the brake and tried to ease back into it, but it was really slick. Locked right back up.

I had this happen several times folks. There is an answer

If you are sliding backwards, brakes locked up...if you have mud tires on and are in soil (not ice). I put it in drive and let the forward pull of the mud tires slow my slide. Brakes don't help in slop on a slope!

Over Xmas break I pulled it out of the shop where the hood and roof were getting a cheap paint job so I could do a quick romp through the woods with some buddies.

Well I got stuck....lost the front flair and a rear mud flap down the river as the truck filled with water and I was between two big rocks.

I was just about to say that looks like Flagstaff. I'm a NAU Alum.

This is really weird. I have only been there once and Flagstaff came to mind before I knew where the picture was taken...somewhere North of Flagstaff on the way to the Grand Canyon?

I'll have to get some pics up.

Both fenders have been caved in, and bumped out and caved in again. All four doors have varying degrees of tree damage. The flares got ripped off so many times I made them detachable, then bent up the fenders too much to mount them back. Two left rear tail lights and one rear marker light (the week I bought it). The manik brush guard and running boards and the nerf bars I replaced the running boards with all got torn up. I've even bent a wing on the ARB.The best and last straw was bending the rain gutter down so far I couldn't open the doors.


I wheel by braille.

The carpet has been soaked about a half dozen times since I bought than damn snorkel too.


It's white though and doesn't really show nearly as much as the dark trucks.

I love the silver lining finish. I've seen the machine so I know the picture he has painted.
