Before and After! Still a work in progress, as most of them are. Original vehicle, Dad bought it new in 74 (currently 74,000 miles). I got her 9 months ago, as you see in the first picture. She the spent the last 20 years in a garage working on those layers of dust, dirt and oil. Now she is free and topless, on the road again.
 
Guess i will post mine here too then, although my beige seems to be darker than all the others??

shes an '83 FJ45, but has a dealer installed 2H, so i guess shes an HJ45 :rolleyes:
pic is from a couple of months ago on a hunting safari here in Zim.

My paint is either know as Toy54B6 or it's a 426H1 color mix. I was told it's a Toyota 'under hood' or 'interior' color. I'll be putting the hardtop back on once it cools off enough to matter.
 
x2 on the flat khaki. I've been thinking about a real paint job tho, I'm leaning towards fashion green

I actually wanted red with my first cruiser but a beaut of a 1983 bj42 went up for sale. The beige grew on me and think it's the best colour ! front half beige rear half stainless.

the 42 is #464 and my 45 is rattle can undercoat beige.
