40's are not exactly on every corner in perfect shape these days. If you like it and the price is right, buy it. Anybody random person that sees it will think it is mostly original. It is beyond what is reasonable for a purist but if the decision is to have "a" 40 or not have a "perfect" one I'd go with the one pictured.

Not everyone likes to row through the gears or maybe can't so that doesn't make an automatic a bad thing. Not everyone likes SBC's in their FJ40's but I for one do!
