The 1972 red cover binder emissions F1.5 FSM is a must have , not to make you install
And have all smog parts present , accounted for and working like new …

It’s essential in my world because it outlines klearly what all was there originally , so you can hook up the needed still now in 2025 basic need plumbing 🪠 like the PCV valve and valve cover breather stystems that every single 1972 F1.5 Engine on the Globe has & Needs , FJ40 FJ45 FJ55 FA100 etc …
Is there an image that showes which vacuum port is which on the physical vacume switch? (A,B,C,D etc...) i have been cleaning elec connections but believe at some point either it wasn't reconnected correctly or stopped working as with my changing and testing, found no change in performance oddly enough.

Also. My carb appears to be different than the image shown. The diaphragm linkage only connects to the choke and doesnt have the throttle positioning link lever shown also connected to the diaphragm. Not saying over the last 53 years something wasnt put back together wrong, but not many have worked on it. It's a stock April '72 carb i believe which is sounding like a transition period from cruiser outfitters.

can you post photos below of your : physical vacuum switch?

top Parts tag foil if still there is a big help too

.

the parts tag i was referring to would be located on the vacuum switch , NOT the carb air horn

if you go back to my initial post about my opinion of hooking up the actuator on your distributor , i also discuss bypassing the Vacuum Switch Box , and taking the hose from the Distributor straight to the port on the carb base

my initial recommendation instruction step by steps , are the same @65swb45 / Mark also makes here this key point , that box on the fender is older then me and so are all the inside parts of it and the wires and parts that feed it signals and B+ current and NEG- EARTH current too ....

its in no way a part / parts of this process to rely on .....

does this better make more tech. sense and give you a better klear approach ?

i am not sure how to better describe this except by taking that whole system diagram that shows all plumbing hoses a, and related devices and make a Color-Ink Treasure Map ?

The place i quietly just low-jacked these for tech. use reference here only purposes pics clearly have it stated its a 21100-60202 ...

your thick aluminum ID tag does sa
y 60202 right .,? hard to say 100% ? but i say it does

however , i am not well versed if this is your carb exactly or not ?

all i do know FACT : is it is a
F1.5 2bbl

only @65swb45 and you know for sure ........

i know also FACT : @Spike Strip has a NOS 21100-60202 he can pull from his complete every single USA Spec. NOS 21100- 's 1962-9/87 all lined up in numerical order inside the cozy dust-less black velvet top adorned solid Cherry shelves of Mrs. Alf's former Glass double Bifold Doors Former Dinner Ware Hutch .

i wish i had a cherry wood glass doors equipped place like
Alfred to display and gaze at all my NOS Baby NipponDenso 27020's , 27030's 27040's & 27060's
