I'm thinking of doing a SOA on the F&R of my 55. If I do a shackel reversal in the front, will I need a traction bar? The rear I'll have one, but no sure if with a reversal in front it will need one. I will be running a SBC. Any tips??

For the rear yes, but never heard of one in the front. You could be the first, I guess. Are you anticipating front axle wrap bad enough to require one?

I've got a tip...search and read everything there is about a SOA, read it again and come back with more specific questions.

People have done front traction bars. Some also justify them for protecting their driveshaft.

What are you talking about, a spring reversal, front or rear trac bar? What is "IT"? "IT" is an unclear pronoun reference. If you got a front trac bar I'm just dying to see this elusive beast. Please post some pictures.

What happens if you take a rear trac bar off? The inevitable things everyone that installs one is trying to prevent....broken pinion due to axle wrap.

if you are planning flat soft spring and gobs of torque sound like a nice idea to me .. I'm SO and SR and seriusly considering use one on front .. ( already had one on rear ) the front axle under good traccion most on a hill ( I'm usually using chains when off roading down here ) describe a flex movement ..

I'm not sure if are enought to broke the pinion coz are not the usual axlwe wrap .. it's something like ( hard to see when you are driving and in the middle of the hill pushing you skiny pedal to the metal but ) engage and disengage from the floor ( sruface contact ) describing a horizontal movement forward and back ..
