Either day works for me so far. I was hoping to have my sliders before the first option, but I talked with Adam at 4xInnovations this morning to see how they were coming along. Not good news. Even though he said they could be at my doorstep (first conversation when I ordered and paid for them) by the 19th at the latest, now said they could be shipped by then. Was hoping to put them to use and not worry about damage to the truck. :bang:

See the Mt. Blanca run thread

Edit: Not enough time/interest for that. See below...

I'll be at home on the weekend of 9/27.

How about the pipeline road across the Jemez on the 27th?

I'm game for a day run.

Which is the pipeline road? I have been up in Jemez to mountain bike but only know quite a few of the single tracks.

This is kind of what I was thinking.

The pipeline road is basically the southern leg here. We can go in through Jemez Springs and up 144, then do this loop CW from the SE corner. At the NE corner we have a choice of going back south the way we came or across the north side of the Valle Grande and out through Espanola.

Edit: The green area in the SE corner is the NW corner of the Valle Grande preserve. This is pretty much a loop around the high country up there. Of course this is just my idea, and if anyone else who wants to go has another idea, bring it up!

I guess another project for me is to learn all this mapping detail. I understand somewhat it is what, but just don't have it all together to put it in a real perspective. I guess it is time to go gps and put my laptop to use. Either way, I am game too. If not this weekend how about next weekend? For me, one or the other.

Steve,

I'm still interested. I haven't been on the pipe line road in years, and I dont' think I've done that loop.

Poop! Are we still on? I better get wrenching.

How about 9 am?

OK...

Is that a Freudian slip, or are you an independent?

I don't like either one.

Should I go off roading or stay home and put the sliders on? Not sure if I will need them for this trail. I haven't been on it before.

I haven't been on it in years, so I can't say for sure. Doesn't seem like it should be that tough though.
