I could be ready to leave Rio Rancho around noon. I can meet you in the Home Depot , on HWY 550, around noon.
I have GMRS, and HAM. I know where we are going. Good area for a hike , if we want to.
I sold my GX a couple of days ago, so I will be in a red Jeep Gladiator. Jeff.

Sounds good. I’ll reach out when I’m done with my appointment.

Well folks, when it rains it pours. Was planning on camping for this event, but one of my dogs is really sick and has constant emergency diarrhea. Like 7 times a day and into the night. Typically, my wife could watch the dogs while I go have fun, but she is away helping a friend with broken foot in Denver. I may try to come up in the morning, if the medication the vet gave seems to be working. Then again, I may not risk the mess in the back seat or making the pup suffer on a long drive.
Have fun, and I can reimburse on any food funds if needed.

UPDATE:

Well folks, I have returned from London and was getting ready to pack up the Dometic refrigerator but discovered that I have no inverter/power. So I am pivoting to the old days. I plan to pack the Dometic with dry ice/blue blocks to keep things cold and have a small coffee press/drip over for coffee. Pulled out the old gas stove as well for the pancakes!

All is good except there shall be NO STARLINK, obviously. So please plan accordingly if you had intended to communicate via my connection.

Cheers!

Yes, It started to rain and small hail, too , turned dust into slick clay mud is just a few seconds... Very localized , so we got back to drier roads near the end of the loop. Great camp out, and great trail ride, with some trail repair along the way. Oh , And we had eggs, pancakes, and bacon for a big breakfast, on Sat morning. Had an anniversary celebration, too!!!!!
Should do this more often!!!
Glad Keith had his big trail jack for the trail repair. Multiple tool bags were used, too.

Jeff the rain broke to a beautiful sky as soon as we had Juan’s rig secured on the trailer 😂

Yes, that's how the weather goes. :) There were a lot of wheels turning in several heads, just not turning on the rig, until all the bolts, and parts got removed. Thanks to all who helped with a difficult trail repair. Hope the G wagon is back on the trail real soon.
