We could use plates, utensils, napkins, cornbread, maybe some tortilla chips with salsa. Guacamole, sour cream, some kick ass hot sauce.

Just throwing out some ideas for the gang. I may pick up a bunch of beans at a local Mexican restaurant.

Ill handle the cornbread, plates/bowls, utensils, and paper towels if others can get some of the other items...?

I will get some chips and salsa! I also have plates napkins bowls and utensils.

Put me down for sour cream:rolleyes:

Here is what I have so far for pot luck fair:

Hey guys a couple quick questions. I am going to try to make it and it would be my first one with you guys. I normally go off roading with a couple of buddies.

1. Wife and kids friendly? I have 7,5 and 3 year old sons that I normally bring along.

2. Can I invite my wheeling friends? One of them has a LC but the other has a old Ram Charger. I don't know what the etiquette is here about non-Cruiser people or people not on the forums.

3. Not 100% sure if the meet up is at Maverick up in Payson or Baja Shell on the way up?

4. What should I bring? Carne Asada?

Thanks,
Brandon

we have a 3 year old girl! I was going to take her to the East Verde to play at the 2nd crossing Saturday but we may just hangout with Dad:D if there are going to be other kids around she will be stoked.

After the July ROTM at the canyon and now this run, sounds like potlucks are going to need to be standard on all overnight ROTMs.

Please understand my limitations for any future potluck contributions. I cook a lot during the week for my family. When camping I only cook with boiling water in a single pot or eat store bought cold fried chicken. ;)

Don't worry, Funner. My potluck game was nonexistent at the canyon. All I brought was chicken and salsa.

I should take a lesson from @Funner as I'm usually guilty of taking too much food that needs to be cooked. Time to slim down the groceries and make more room for some of San Tan Brewery's finest!:hmm:
