Yeah, I wouldn't use ceramics for this type of load, unless the load was spread out with wood.
 
I would offer up my jack and stands, but it's a fairly light duty Craftsman that barely picks up my truck enough to allow me to slide in my equally crappy jack stands. I only work one corner at a time. A new jack is on my needs list.


You may want to consider investing in one of these for the bottle jack. It may be enough to help you out down the road.

I was going to just lift with one arm and change the pads with the other but I thought that would be showing off.
 
@LandCruiserPhil offers a handy adapter, vehicle specific, for OEM bottle jacks. Not saying it'll solve your problem, just putting it out there for those who are unfamiliar. He has some cool stuff. Jack Adapters - Land Cruiser Products - LCP
 
Found some wood. THanks for all the assistance. Now to change these pads and start driving YETI again versus this quiet Bluebird truck.
