Hello Guys and Gals

Our SR8 model is scheduled for a late April/early May release and I'm looking to gauge the interest from the 80 series crowd. The SR8 is specifically designed for the Tacoma, FJ Cruiser, and 4Runner, but with a little machine work, we can make it a direct fit for the 80 series LC.

We're looking to bring in a small quantity of wheels where the centerbore is machined out to eliminate the ~3mm lip that's used to snap the center cap on. The LC version will NOT have a center cap.

Here's a little more info on the SR8.

Estimated weight of the wheels.
16x8 ~ 21lbs
17x8.5 ~24lbs

Size: 16 x 8
Bolt Pattern: 6 x 5.5
Hubcentric: Yes
Backspacing: 4.00”
Offset: -12mm

Size: 17 x 8.5
Bolt Pattern: 6 x 5.5
Hubcentric: Yes
Backspacing: 4.30”
Offset: -10mm

Retail pricing
16x8 - $165/ea.
17x8.5 - $185/ea.

Available finish: they will all feature a gloss black lip with gold removable screws
- matte jet black
- matte gunmetal

Let me know if you guys have any questions.

I'd be interested in them. Would probably go with the gunmetal color scheme. Even if the "beadlock" is just for show, I'd still get them. I don't think the type of wheeling where I am would cause an issue with them, i'm not very aggressive when driving either.

ditto, I would be interested too. I dont live in a rocky terrain. I like both the root beer and the gunmetal! price?

Too much bling, too many spokes, too many straight lines, IMHO. The 80 needs a wheel, IMO, with a slightly rounded look to the spokes like the original to match the body design ie: no sharp angles.

I would like a lower offset/back spacing to bring it out for those people who still uses the over fenders

Not a fan of that style. However the F5's look better for the 80 series.

I agree, F5s are awesome. If only they had more size/offset options.

But I think these SR8s look great too. SCS, I saw your thread on T4R.org yesterday. These are a great looking wheel and like them for the 4Runner we'll be picking up. But I think it's too blingy for the 80 crowd. These guys tend to be more conservative when it comes to styling.

My honest opinion, invest more in the F5. Give us more sizes. Gives us more offsets. Give us more colors. I think that wheel is a winner for the 80-series Land Cruiser.

I LOVE my F5's but agree this works much better for the newer rigs - I'd love a F5 in 17" though......

More F5 colors, silver maybe.

Couldn't have said it any better.

The SR8s do look good
