I've tried all the codes mentioned on this site and all the codes provided by ScanGuage and still can't get trans fluid temp on my '06 LC. Anybody got a set of X codes that work?

The code worked for me when I applied it a few years ago.

This thread has the codes - Scan Gauge 2 Coding - TLC FAQ

Are these the ones you used?

For 04-07

2015342

I tried these codes on a 2005 LX and I am not getting any readings. Does anyone know if the codes are different on the LX? Scanguage software version is 4.37.

Thanks

Call Scangauge customer support, they have all the codes on file and (in my experience) are very helpful people

Depending on when in 2006 your truck was made there may be a newer protocol- the codes changed for 2007 forward and are listed on their website. Also check the software version on your SC II, if its less than 4.2 that might be another reason youre getting no reading.

Agree with this. Might be the software itself (older version or just not working properly).

To upgrade/reset: » ScanGauge Upgrade

Forget which one I used but it was from this page. There are only 4 to try.

Tried these two this AM. - received a static 350 for the result. Didn't update on my way to work.

Also went through the check to see which protocol I am using and CANSF would not connect. ISO did connect. Might be part of my issue.

Will keep trying.

For your 2005- the code I posted above (#4) should work. I think the 05 is pre CANSF.

@abuck99 the code you posted is what I use in my 05 100 series.

I have Scan Gage II firmware 4.22 can't get TFT to work on 4/2006 build LC. Should I upgrade the Scan Gage.

I would email scanguage support. They helped along with everyone on this thread. They did tell me that the TFT function working is hit and miss which didn't give me a ton of confidence but ultimately it worked out.

Support was super quick with a reply.

I agree. Email or call ScanGauge customer support. They are very helpful.

And ask them to add the °F symbol to their selectable character list. Everything else is there except that one. :)

This worked for my 07.

TXD: 07E021D9
RXF: 032100000000
RXD: 1808
MTH: 00090005FFD8

@planomateo You da man! These codes are the ones that finally worked! '06 and '07 guys, this is it.

These codes are for TFT in ºF (there is no ºF symbol as mentioned in post #18. I had my cWT set to ºC because it's easy (100º=boiling, and the temp in ºC is approximate percent warmed up -10º). I switched it to ºF today so they will match. I can use both Imperial and metric but don't want mixed standards on a display.

The highest trans temp I saw today was 122ºF after about 6 min of highway driving at 70 mph in 55ºF weather. It would have been interesting had this been working for me when I was climbing Baker Grade in the CA desert fully loaded with ambient at 108ºF...
