Is routing the wiring for the Scangauge a pain in the ass? Looking to do the same thing but also trying to decide on location.

Thanks - that’s good to know and probably where I end up putting mine.

Some of these setups look great...makes me a little jealous of folks who can pull off such clean setups on their own.

I placed/moulded Kydex over the console so I could add the outlets and provide a different look.

To place it in the stereo console (like mine), you need to take the stereo console off, but its only held on with 4 screws. I agree the easiest is probably on the steering column or on top of the dash near the steering column.
 
Does the Scangauge record the correct MPH with oversize tires?
It will, but you have to adjust it.by percentages. I used Waze to get accurate speed, then adjusted
