Hey everybody,
I’ve got a H41 splictcase combo with the factory e- brake drum. I purchased it from a fellow mudder who pulled it from his 1982 FJ45 for an H55 swap. I was told it was shifting and working fine and I have no reason to doubt that after inspecting the unit in person.

There is one minor issue and that is some wear on the input shaft where the pilot bearing rides.

Located in North Augusta, SC
I will crate it up and drop off at Fastenal or other shipper but the buyer is responsible for shipping.

$900 OBO

that is a great great deal.

Curious, what are the exterior signs of h42.

I might play secondo in line if this deal falls through

No offer has been made so if you’re interested shoot me a PM.

Sorry @orangefj45 but no Round up for me this year. Happy to put it on a pallet for you and drop off at a shipping depot.

The bummer about this unit is the worn input gear. That particular gear was discontinued a long time ago and literally can't be found.

4X4 World in Australia sells an aftermarket input shaft/gear. Would have to check but think it's made in Japan. Been on my eBay AU watch list for a long time. Shows four available. Says it's for a four and five speed 8/80-11/84. Thought it didn't change 10/85. Anyway because says four and five speed would be a H41 not a H42. Did get a Used one for my H55F from BJ42. My friend in Australia says he went thru bunch of H41s to find a decent one. He is very picky and the one I got was in excellent shape. Have the same H41 setup from an 84 and worse case would have switched shafts. Would buy the aftermarket input shafr first.
