Happy Birthday Cuz. Will play a jig or a reel in your honor today.

Another Happy Birthday to you, ya old fart! You need to get out and see the light of day more often - you are missed around here.

Happy Birthday Commander. Thanks for getting the WALCS crew to Granite Shoals for good stories. It brings back great memories of the first 3FE list bash from Memorial Day weekend 2003. My twin boys were 6 months old then and now they are 11 and their sister is 9. The rest of us have not aged at all!

Who can spot the 3 Bash hosts in this picture?

Uhhh, let me guess - the Commander is surrounded by them!?
Ahh, Granite Shoals. It's a party!!

First, I apologize for bumping the thread and causing undue excitement. Nope, no new chapter.

I wonder, however, if the work-stoppage is an indication that there is a book-deal in the works...yeah, that's my theory.

A book would be awesome, if so I hope it comes out soon. :)

I'm thinking alien abduction...

Couldn't help but think of the rustbucket thread when my son in law showed up with this for the Seahawk game last night. Cheers Commander!

Spoke with Lee via email. He is doing well, just very busy with life, family, etc.

Perhaps Santa will bring us all some moose drool and another chapter soon?

Great to hear the Commander is doing well.

Cold night at deer camp with my first ever Moose Drool. It is an amazing beer! I was ready to make a pilgrimage to Missoula Montana as the closest it is sold to me is Beaumont. God bless good friends who happened to remember me mentioning I wanted to try it and they picked me up a six pack when passing through Houston. Also pictured in background, 2 used (read empty) bottles of muscadine wine.
Not pictured: the jar of "apple shine" that was probably in somebody else's hands at the time. :D

That's really nice to hear everything is okay.

Commander it Has to be nice to see that without writing any new chapter, your popularity is so big that you get already a 100.000 views extra !!:beer:

maybe something more traditional will lure him out...

I've been a Land Cruiser enthusiast for the past 16 years. This has been the most substantial reading I've had the pleasure of coming across since becoming a FJ40 servant. Wow. Powerful. Lee, you have a gift. Keep telling your story.
