Finally got on i70 - just westbound west of grand junction - fun little Moab stop first 😈

Finally en route should be in late tonight in a 80 this year and not my pig. 😔

80 is for sale if anyone wants it. I can get a rental or fly home. 😂🙏🤙🤘

Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Cheers!

-Joe

To every one in attendance have fun, be safe, keep the rubber side down, and for all that is holy take some pictures so those of us NOT in attendance can live vicariously through your adventures

Well, I officially out for making it to SAS.
We are very bummed out, and tried to make it a go up til the last minute but I just can't get away from work long enough. Right now a day here or there is fine, but a week is a no-go.

I hope you all have a great time, and good luck on the roof rack raffle!!!

A reminder from KOA Ouray

Just a reminder to all campers that we have a pet policy that dogs MUST stay on a leash at all times unless inside the Kamp K9 dog park area. Also to pick up after them no matter where they go. Thank you for your consideration of others.

The food truck will be open this evening as well. We will have the music on and a fire in the main ring so bring your favorite beverage and chair.

As a reminder, Again, all pets must be on leashes while on KOA property. Also, Again, speed limit in the campground is 5 mph.
Please respect their rules so we can all have a nice stay.

Hey everyone! I’m the guy with the broken shock mount. @Fyffer connected me with Justin Reece in Ridgeway that was able to reweld the perch and gave the truck a once over. He and his coworkers took the week off hedging there may be an issue or two. They told me to share their info with everyone in the group. Justin Reece Rusty Nail Racing 970-261-9757. They are standing by waiting to help

Last Dollar & Ophir Pass plus a visit to the world’s first AC electric station!

I am going to run Stoney Pass to Kite Lake. I am in T30 and would like to meet at 8:30 and leave shortly there after. If you are interested come join me.

Shelley here 👋🏼 I was hoping to get families with kids a time to meet up & get acquainted with each other this year. We have been enjoying the Solid Axle Summit since my 8 year old was a baby & this trip is one of the kids most talked about adventures of the year.

Our camp spot is down across from the mining area, we will be in a white 80 with a blue truck trailer. It would be nice to have a meet & greet Monday after day 1 of easy trails down there around 7:30 pm. Bring your kids, I’m hoping to make it a fun family time with some ice breakers, ‘the bubble man’, face paints & Maureen has some crafty tricks up her sleeves too!

Looking forward to meeting (or reacquainting) with you all!

Also, feel free to stop by anytime, Monday is just when I’m hoping to get the majority at once. Klaus will be guiding trails as well, feel free to sign up with him as a trail guide for a day that includes stops for kids to get out & play here & there as well.
Just a reminder, come on down for some family fun, site 19 by the mining

@Dr Rock James - thanks for a great day on Last Dollar and Ophir Pass! Really liked the Ames tour and cool that the guy let us in the building!

Hope everyone had a great first day at SAS 9.
We will have the registration open around 7 am Tuesday morning. Coffee should be ready soon after. Come and pick up your swag bag and check in if you haven't yet.
Tomorrow evening we will have Cruiser Cult hosting a Landcruiser trivia night at the group campfire.
