Welcome to Kansas.

I think I can still see my house from here if I turn around.

Weird twist, I've been on this road before.
Ten or eleven years ago. It was something like 108º and I was in my WRX.
The only thing keeping me under 100mph with the straight road to the horizon was the heat.
I'm not certain what happens when you lose a tire on a Subaru at 140mph, but I'm guessing it involves a shopvac and dustpan.
Just a mop, maybe a sponge.

Murnin’

It turns out I will be staying in Morrison for almost a week following SAS at a friend’s place. Figured I’d ask here about any good day wheeling trips with bonus points for lakes or water.

TIA

That’s only 47.63 mph on average. Did you get pulled over in a school zone?
Way out i was doing mostly around 72 or 73.

Slept for 4 or 5 hours there and hung out for another 2 or 3 hours. Left here about 5:30cst, got there about 9:30cst. Left BV 5:50cst, got home 8:30cst.

Around 90 most of the way back.

a long day.. Head over to buena vista run tin cup to Mirror lake . Even a better time if you do an over nighter run the miners loop . that's Hancock pass come onto tin cup from the pitkin side . cross mirror lake there are killer free primitive camps sites on the right, after the lake .. That area is as beautiful as the alpine loop with no crowds

Great idea. I must have missed that post. Can someone please post a link to those things?
Driving sleeves?

Stupid Amazon has ‘em dirt cheap.

I'm trying understand what they're for? Sun screen?
My left arm is permanently darker than my right. Pretty much arm out the window all the time so I'm at a loss here...
Exactly the purpose.
Truckers use use them to mitigate getting too much sun to the driver side. Allen Iverson used them so his tattoos wouldn’t offend the pearl clutchers.

I’m somewhere in between.
