We're getting excited. 60 and 200 will be going. Can't wait. Thanks again to @POTATO LAUNCHER for making it happen.

Thanks Alex but I'm just the guy that relays all the stuff to you Yahoo's on this forum. It takes a village each year to make SAS happen. Many of them work year round while others help out tremendously at camp and on the trails. It takes us all to have such an amazing week in the San Juans. Can't thank them enough.
Casey..

It's my acceleration curve that's killing things. It just can't get up to speed.

I regularly annihilate plywood at 17m/min with a half inch 2 flute. But it takes more distance than I had to get up to those speeds. The machine is pretty well honed to crank through panels, this stuff is tough work for it.

These i used a ½" compression to rough out, and a ⅜" ballnose to grub out enough for Chris's machine to not be working it's tits off the whole time.

Why is your year 8 Koozie not stuck to the side of that machine Karl?

Working on my adventure rig and got some @cruiserdan inspired driving sleeves.

Any body have a spot as a passenger? Missed my chance at registration and I'm on the waiting list. This has turned into one of my favorite trips of the year. Dont need much but a spot to sit and rest my bones.

The worst thing I did was download the Watch app! All I see now is the entire west on fire! Including my entire route to get to SAS! And yes I suppose this is an exaggeration.

I have lived in Las Vegas for 21 years now. I guess my ignorance is bliss attempt at making light of the iPhone app fell flat. LOL

If you’re extra brave, it looks like I’ll have an open passenger seat at least until Wednesday.

Did that. Smoothed all contours.

I knocked the program time in half doing that, going to a larger step, and dicking with a tolerance setting in the post.
Playing with the accuracy settings on the machine control can also have a huge impact on actual cycle time. If the machine is struggling to get up to speed, especially on roughing passes, loosening the machine settings will make a huge difference. Just have to make sure you leave enough stock that it doesn't gouge the part.

On the Brother Spedio's I work with, M284 specifies "high accuracy mode" which will run much more slowly with the same code than the "normal" or "low" accuracy modes. The accuracy values of each mode can usually be adjusted in the machine parameters. Your machines will likely have a different mcode or method of specifying the accuracy mode.
