I am wondering if any of you all can recommend a mechanic in Santa Fe, NM area. I appreciate any recommendations in advance.

Thanks,
txyota

I think Beno was looking for....engine work, axle rebuild, transmission, electrical problem, offroad mods?

Which year cruiser is helpful also since they have different engines and some people are better working on some than others.

A Land Cruiser pre-1990 is a different beast than a Land Cruiser 1993+. After that Toyota lost their minds.

There are 3 toyota specialists in town, I can't speak for any of them. Aztec Auto, ToyAutoMan, Toyotech. I used Alex Safety Lane years ago and they seemed pretty professional, but it wasn't a Toyota. Don't use Beaver Toyota, they will rip you off on parts at the very least. They tried to sell a colleague an alternator for his 2005 Camry for $100 OVER list price, until I told him to call American.

Thanks

Thanks 2manycruisers for your help. I will keep those three in mind. I have a 1997 LC 80 series that is in good shape, but if I ever need a mechanic I would like to have a few recommendations.
