Went to the 10th anniversary of Carolina Relic Run this past weekend in Uwharrie. We battled cold nights and a little rain but great times were had by all.

Poking around through old pictures I'm reminded of how far this truck has come. Here are some pics I got from the seller when I was thinking of buying Sandy back in Nov 2021. Really proud of the progression of this truck over the past 3.5 years.

you put wheels and tires on it and washed it?

Got some new goodies from @TRFarmers. This is their cargo area trim and the B pillar covers.

Install was easy and quality was fantastic as always. The cargo trim is cut for a 62 with rear seatbelts so there will be a gap on 60s. I already had the D-pillar headliner trim which was great so these complement it nicely!

As those who have followed my thread know, this truck lived a hard life before I got it so these are a good step towards getting her freshened up inside.

The B-Pillar trim is also awesome. MUCH thicker than the factory ones which should help with wear over time. No problems with fitment with the extra thickness.

Went to GSMTR last week which was also a great time as always. Sandy did well but was getting warm on the way back. Noted last night when the truck was idling that coolant was coming out of the rad. Need to look into this to see where it's coming from. Hopefully just a hose clamp but likely not seeing as I drove it to CO last year and haven't touched the system since. Maybe the rad finally bit the dust. The rad was the one item I did not replace...

Nice pool of coolant under the truck after idling for 10-15 mins.

Sandy is gorgeous. Had the chance to lookover her at GSMTR.
Keep up the good work!

New CSF radiator installed today to replace the old leaking CSF in preparation for the Creek Daze event I’m leaving for Friday with Star City Land Cruisers. Given the timing, this CSF from Rock Auto was the only option that would arrive in time. I also took the opportunity to spray out my condenser which was partially packed with mud.

The old one is at a radiator repair shop to get cleaned and repaired to be kept as a spare. It was leaking right at the upper tank seam.

I don’t have pictures of the rail adapters I made unfortunately. I’ve had a few folks ask.

It’s just a piece of flat steel with two sets of holes drilled. One at the stock slider width and one at the Bestop seat mounting width. I also offset the seat holes 3” back to give me more legroom

Washed the truck the other day and still have water leaking into the driver footwell. I have traced it to the seam at the top of the footwell firewall. I have the fender off again this morning to try and find out exactly where it's coming into the cabin. I have already resealed the areas marked in red. My plan is to try to look into the cowl and see if there is something there causing the leak.

I know I need to seal up that grommet that wires are run though as that is also a leak path but a much smaller one.

I did pull the wiper linkage access panel on the driver side and there was some mud and such in there.

Other ideas welcome.

You've already done your windshield right?
Yeah, I sealed my windshield on both sides of the gasket when I did my roof project.

I got this area sealed up and will test it again tomorrow. Hopefully it’ll be all good now!

Last minute trip to Creek Daze with Star City Land Cruisers this past weekend. It was a nice low key weekend hanging out on the river.

It poured on me on the way up to the event and there was NO water in my floorboard which was a huge win. Seems I finally found/fixed the leak. The new rad was perfect as well. No overheating or coolant leakage.

We even did some community service helping a poor local guy who got stuck in the mud.
