Sad day with my new(ly wrecked) FJ40

Ive been told they do not expect to go back into production with the 9.5s

You can get 10.5s with a 3 inch offset. I fit mine with a 3.5 offset.

I posted a link earlier in this thread to a 2.5 offset wheel that you could run 12.5s with.

I would go 12.5s if you have flares and power steering, and 10.5s if you have no power steering.

I called last week and they said they were planning on going back into production just that they didn't have a date set. They said to try back in 3 weeks. If I did 33x10.5x15 I would have to trim the fenders or do a lift though, right? I do have flares, but no lift.

man. what a bummer.

Truck looks like it is in good shape, the tire hitting the rear quarter didn't unveil any bondo which is cool....

Find some wheels of an FJ60/62 in junk yard and call it a day. My bet is you just need to have somebody throw some new studs in the axle, get a new drum for it, and straighten the brake backing plate and you'll be good to go.

Worry about the body work later.

Looks like the nuts on the spacer weren't checked often enough and they came loose.
