RTT Group Buys?

Anyone know of any pending/seasonal group buys coming for either CVT or Tepui? I am looking to get either an Autana Ruggedized or the Mt Rainier Extended Pioneer.

I know we can get a mud discount through a member on the Tepui, so with that discount the two actually come out to almost the exact same price. If there were to be a group buy on one or the other that would push me into decision mode I think.

Anyone have any info on it? I emailed CVT but the sales guy had no info, and I couldn't find anything searching on MUD.

@McDowra organized the last group buy I believe for CVT....I had just gotten on MUD and had no idea which direction I was going to go in. He might be able to give some info on how he did it.

Tepui doesn't do group buys. Their philosophy is to value their dealers and make their dealers successful. Group buys undermine the dealers so Tepui does not do group buys.

But as you know, I can still get you the 10% forum member discount on any of the Tepui tents. Happy to help if you need it.

Cheers Adam - there's no disputing the quality of the Tepui products. Honestly all other things being equal (i.e. final price, size, etc) then that's the route I will go and it becomes a question of timing.

My first choice is to buy through you, but I live in NorCal. Is it possible to purchase from you and pick up at the Tepui facility near San Jose? Or if I buy from you do I need to come to Syracuse to pick it up? Shipping is $pendy on these things

No need to come to me to get your tent. Of course you can order through me with the discount and I can have your tent held at the shop in Santa Cruz if you like. For you, and anyone else reading this thread I also offer flatrate shipping which is almost always MUCH cheaper than actual shipping rates.
Flatrate Shipping rates are:
$125 - All 2 person (Ayer) models
$150 - All standard (non-Ruggedized or XL) models
$215 - All Ruggedized and XL models.

These do not have to be delivered to a business address. They can be delivered directly to your door. Orders within California are subject to CA sales tax. Outside of CA, no sales tax is charged on your orders.
